Yuna Kim

I am absolutely sure that you have heard this name at least once if you have watched the figure skating competitions. She is currently considered as one of the best figure skaters in the world, winning the gold medal in 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. She is the current record holder for the short program, free skating and the total.
Also she is the first figure skater to win the Olympic Games, the World championships, the Four Continents Championships and the Grand Prix Final.
She was also rated as one of the most influential people by Time in July 2010.
Even though I don't really know a lot about figure skating, just by looking at her skills and the moves she does in her programs just fascinates me. I have heard that she is looking for another medal in the next Winter Olympics and really hope that she gets good results that she deserves!!

I'm sorry I can only seem to find the Korean broadcasted version. But still I hope you enjoy!!

Snowpiercer

'Snowpiercer' is another Hollywood movie directed by a Korean director Bong Joon Ho. It is very interesting to see that the Hollywood debut movie for the three Korean directors are opening in 2013 coincidentally. Anyways, this movie stars Chirs Evans, Ed Harris and one of my favorite Korean actor, Song Kang Ho. Out of the three movies by the Korean directors, this one is the movie I am longing to see the most.

Unfortunately, the trailers have not come out yet, so I can only post photos.

Stoker

Following the movie 'Last Stand', here comes another Hollywood movie directed by a Korean director Park Chan Wook. It is the 'Stoker', starring Mia Wasikowska, Matthew Goode and Nicole Kidman. I was really surprised to hear that the scripts of this movie was  written by Wentworth Miller, who acted as Michael Scofield in the drama 'Prison Break'.

Last Stand

There was a new movie called the 'Last Stand', and guess what? The director of this movie is a Korean person named Kim Ji Woon

It is his Hollywood debut movie, starring former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have not yet watched it but people who have watched it says that it is not bad at all!!

I am soooo looking forward to watching this movie!

Billboard??

K-Pop is slowly going worldwide along with the rapid spread in the song 'Gangnam Style' by Psy. However, he is not the first one to be on the Billboard charts as a Korean singer. The very first Korean singer to be on the Billboard is Kim Bum Soo, with the song named 'Hello, Goodbye, Hello', which is a translated version of the Korean song 'Haru'.

He first made it into the top 100 sales chart in 2001 as the first Korean singer to have his name on the Billboard charts.

Unfortunately, he couldn't make it into the Hot 100 charts. However, in 2009, a Korean singer named Boa has made it into the Billboard 200, hitting 127th place with her first single 'BoA'. A few months later, as you guys might know, the Wonder Girls has made it into the Billboard Hot 100 hitting 76th place with their single 'Nobody'.

I personally am not a fan of those idols singing the so called K-Pop with their dances on stage, but I do hope that more people can get into the world famous Billboard charts in the future!!

In fact, he is renowned as one of the best actors in Korea.

He has appeared in so many Korean dramas and movies and gained his fame not only with his handsome face but also with his great acting and voice.

He has recently shot his new Hollywood movie G.I.Joe 2 

He may not be the first Korean actor to be in worldwide famous movies made in Hollywood, but he has his own hand printed in front of the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Believe it or not, he is the first Asian actor to have his hand printed there!!

Let us look forward to his new movie~
